چکیده
Flavonoid are bioactive compounds that can be found in moringa leaves. Extraction of using conventional method requires a long time and low extract yields. This study was aimed to determine the optimum process conditions sequential microwave-ultrasonic-assisted extraction (MUAE) total flavonoids (TF) from moringa. The response surface methodology (RSM) with Box-Behnken design (BBD) employed operating MUAE among set variables: Time (10 - 30 min), temperature (40 60 °C), solvent concentration (60 80%). Furthermore, content determined high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) antioxidant activity analyzed DPPH scavenging method. RSM optimization showed predicted 3.25 quercetin equivalent (QE) mg/g, achieved under at 49.76 °C, 20.68 min 71.16 %. These were validated, resulting an average error 0.546 MS/HPLC results myricetin 0.167 2.89 g/ 100 mL, respectively. Moringa product has strong IC50 74.58 74.62 µg/mL.

متن کاملOptimization of Ultrasonic-Assisted Extraction of Flavonoid Compounds and Antioxidants from Alfalfa Using Response Surface Method.
Ultrasonic-assisted extraction (UAE) was used to extract flavonoid-enriched antioxidants from alfalfa aerial part. Response surface methodology (RSM), based on a four-factor, five-level central composite design (CCD), was employed to obtain the optimal extraction parameters, in which the flavonoid content was maximum and the antioxidant activity of the extracts was strongest. Radical scavenging...

The aim of this study was to optimize the extraction conditions for the extraction of phenolic compounds from Moringa oleifera leaves using response surface methodology (RSM). A user-defined design was applied to determine the effects of extraction time (min), extraction temperature ((o)C) and ethanol concentration (%), on total phenolic content (TPC) from Moringa oleifera leaves dried by three...
متن کاملOptimization of Ultrasonic-Assisted Extraction of Phenolic Compounds from Apples
In order to optimize conditions for the extraction of polyphenols from apples, peel and flesh of apples were subjected to an extraction process with different solvents consisting of various ratios of methanol and water (40, 60, 80 %), 100 % methanol, or with methanol acidified with hydrochloric acid (0.1 %). Extractions were performed using an ultrasonic bath with time periods from 5 to 15 min....
